William Lewis "Butch" Decker
September 20, 1947 — May 20, 2016
William Lewis "Butch" Decker, 68, of Lawrenceburg, died Friday, May 20, 2016 at Frankfort Regional Medical Center.
He was born in Mercer County to the late Lewis Herman Decker and Virginia Merriman Decker Cox. He was a member of Lawrenceburg Community Baptist Church, and a former assembly line worker for Kuhlman Electric.
Mr. Decker is survived by two daughters, Kerry (Kris) Roberts and Misty Decker; sister, Edith (Charles) Caudill; two grandsons, Bronston Mitchell, Brenden Sutherland, all of Lawrenceburg; five half-brothers; and six half-sisters.
He was preceded in death by a son, Heath Decker.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at Gash Memorial Chapel with Bro. Noal Cotton, Jr. and Bro. Larry Weathers officiating. Burial will follow in the Hebron Cemetery. Visitation will be 11-1 p.m. Tuesday.
Casketbearers will be Robbie Agee, Billy Agee, Jason Sutherland, Chester Byrd, Bryan Denton, Bronston Mitchell, Brandon Sutherland, and David Christenson.
