Thomas Edward Shelton

Thomas Edward Shelton, age 89 of Lawrenceburg, widow of Wanda Mae Fallis Shelton, died Thursday, October 29, 2015 at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington.

He was born in Lawrenceburg, KY to the late Tommy and Dessie Harley Shelton. He was a member at Sand Spring Baptist Church; worked as a route supervisor for KY Overall; member of the Masonic Lodge #90; and a US Army Veteran that served in WWII.

Thomas was survived by one son, Paul D. (Renee) Shelton; two daughters, Clara Sue Shelton and Alice Mae (Kevin) Green; four grandchildren, Alisha (Chad) Clark, Katherine Mae Green, and Eric Andrew Green, all of Lawrenceburg, and Larry (Jamie) Shelton, Independence; four great-grandchildren, Brennan and Aryonna Clark, Lawrenceburg, and Rylie and Regan Shelton, Independence.

Mr. Shelton was preceded in death by nine brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, November 2, 2015 at Gash Memorial Chapel with Bro. Terry Cooper officiating. Burial will follow in the Sand Spring Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Sunday.
