Teresa Ann Owens

Teresa Ann Owens, age 59, departed from this world for her heavenly home on Wednesday November 22nd 2023 at St. Joseph Hospital Lexington. Teresa was born on August 2nd 1964 to Sandra Clark and Kenneth Owens in Corbin, Kentucky. She graduated from Laurel County High School. Her proudest work was as a paramedic for Knox County EMS. She married Alexander Rankin on September 1st 2018. They were happily married together until her passing and resided together in Nicholasville, KY. She enjoyed shopping, music, catching up with friends and family, and playing bingo. Teresa is survived by her husband, Alexander Rankin. One daughter, Ashley Dawn Rose (Owens) Jones (Aaron Jones) of Richmond,KY. One brother, John Roland Langford (Allison Langford) of Somerset KY. One nephew John Charles Langford of Somerset KY. Two Aunts, Rosemary and Uncle Garry Mayne of Corbin, KY and Aunt Joetta Smith of Lexington, KY. Cousins Stacey Holmes (Derrick Holmes) of Lexington KY and Aaron Jack Clark of Corbin KY. And one granddaughter, Remiel Isaiah Jones. Teresa is preceded in death by her parents, and her step-father John Thomas Langford. Her grandmother Verna Clark and great-grandparents Tena and Roland Johnson. Two Uncles, Jack Clark and Earl Smith. One Aunt, Elizabeth Clark. Several great aunts and uncles. And one very beloved cousin, Tina Allison Mayne. A private graveside service is planned for burial at Felts Chapel Cemetery. Teresa leaves behind family and friends that feel the loss of her presence and will remember her always.
