Sylvia Ann Ray

Sylvia Ann Ray, 75, of Lawrenceburg, died Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at Heritage Hall Healthcare Center.

She was born in Anderson County to the late Herbert M. and Ora Waterfill Ray. She was a member at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Frankfort, homemaker, and a graduate of Shelbyville High School.

She is survived by one brother, Lester (Beverly) Ray, Louisville; nephew, Brian (Lisa) Ray, Union, KY; great niece, Victoria Ray; great nephew, Charlie Ray, and aunt, Wilma (Wallace) Thompson, Lawrenceburg.

She was preceded in death by numerous aunts and uncles.

Funeral services will be Sunday July 17, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Gash Memorial Chapel with Dr. Robert F. Ehr officiating. Burial will follow in Lawrenceburg Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Saturday.

Casketbearers will be William Lee Thompson, Larry Etherington, Matthew Etherington, Tim Thompson, Mike Wells, Brian Ray, Michael Etherington, and Terry Gash.
