Sylvia Irene Combs Copeland, 83, of Frankfort, died Monday, July 18, 2016 at Baptist Health in Lexington.
She was born in Harlan County, KY to the late Thomas and Elizabeth Combs Combs. She was a graduate of Harlan County High School; former secretary for Cabinet of Health and Family Services; and a former employee of A&P.
Ms. Copeland is survived by a daughter, Adrienne (Bill) Robinson; and a step-son, Scott (Stephanie) Sowash, all of Frankfort.
Cremation was chosen. Gash Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
