Susie B. (Disponett) Wiley

Susie B. Wiley, 90, of Lawrenceburg, widow of Estill Wiley, Jr., died Thursday, September 7, 2017 at Heritage Hall Healthcare Center.

Mrs. Wiley was born in Anderson County to the late James Tyler and Nora Bell Searcy Disponett.  She was a 1945 graduate of Western High School; member of First Baptist Church; retired from KY Overall as the office manager; and a former bus monitor for Anderson County Schools.

Susie is survived by two daughters, Sherwin (Billy Joe) Hume, Lawrenceburg, and Wanda (Mark) Gritton, Versailles; son, Barry (Lisa) Drury, Lexington; step-daughter, Bonnie (Mark) Florian, Versailles; 9 grandchildren, Natalie (Gregg) Brown, Lesley (Bo) Flynn, Todd (Hanna) Gritton, Amanda (Butch) Newton, Carissa (Steve) Rollins, Barry Lynn Drury, Charles Wayne Courtney, Tammy (Doug) Estep, Angie Courtney; 12 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; sister, Mary Lacefield, Lawrenceburg; and 3 brothers, J.P. Disponett, John Henry (Lovina) Disponett, and Dave (Brenda) Disponett, all of Lawrenceburg.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles Myron Drury; brother, Bernice Desponett; three sisters, Edith Hawkins, Carrie Durr, and Delcie Morgan.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 10, 2017 at Gash Memorial Chapel with Dr. Robert F. Ehr officiating.  Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery.  Visitation 12-2 p.m. on Sunday.
