Ruby Mae (Johnson) Grigsby

Ruby Mae Johnson Grigsby, age 78, of Frankfort, widow of Arthur Eugene Grigsby, Jr., died Friday, February 5, 2016 at her residence.

She was born in Estill County to the late Russell and Bernice Embree Johnson. She was also a homemaker.

Mrs. Grigsby was survived by two sons, Ronald (Patricia) Grigsby, Frankfort, Russell Wayne Grigsby, Paint Lick; two daughters, Deborah Wilson, Spring Valley, CA, Sharon Renee Pavey, Richmond; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and caregiver, Dora Elizabeth Bays.

Along with her husband she was preceded in death by one sister, Dorothy Murphy and brother, Bill Sparks.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, February 11, 2016 at Gash Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in Lawrenceburg Cemetery. Visitation will be 11-1 p.m. Thursday before the services. Casketbearers will be Ray Velbis, Donnie Murphy, Danny Murphy, Freddy Doss, Dennis Murphy, Jimmy Murphy, David Murphy, and Jason Gerstorff.
