Robert Eugene Holt

Robert Eugene Holt, age 73, of Lawrenceburg, widower of Barbara Proctor Holt, died Friday, April 8, 2016 at UK Medical Center.

He was born in Salvisa, KY to the late Franklin and Dorothy Disponett Holt.  He was a member of Full Gospel Assembly of God Church and was the owner of Holt's Construction Company.

Mr. Holt is survived by a daughter, Debbie (Walter) Riley, Lawrenceburg; two sons, Troy Holt, Frankfort and Pernell (Amber) Holt, Lexington; 6 grandchildren, Travis, Zachary, Robert, and Brandon Holt, Megan Hartley and Hope Riley; 10 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters, Shirley Sea and Linda Yocom, both of Shelbyville, and Kim Lynch, Florida; brother, Kenny Holt, Lawrenceburg; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Dionna Holt and brothers, Franklin Holt, Jr. and James Disponett.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at Gash Memorial Chapel with Bro. Kenny Robinson and Bro. Mark Studler officiating.  Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery.  Visitation 5-8 p.m. Monday.

Casketbearers will be Travis, Zachary, and Brandon Holt, Alan Robinson, Justin Barlow, and Robbie Buntain.  Honorary bearers will be Charlie Cammack, Bodie Caldwell, Jeff Reynolds, Mike Hatcher, Dave Disponett, Glenn Smith, and James Sargeant.
