Robert Howard Bush

Robert Howard "Bubba" Bush, age 63, husband of 14 years to Trina Faye Bowen Bush, of Frankfort, died Monday, December 31, 2018 at his residence.

Mr. Bush was born in Frankfort, Kentucky to the late Thomas L. Thurman and the late Roselynne Belle Bush.  He was a graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School in Louisville; attended Light House Baptist Church; and retired from Meritor.

Besides his wife he is survived by his daughter, Ebony (Leon, Sr.) Bush, of San Diego, CA; son, Jason Zackery, of San Antonio, TX; three grandchildren, Kahrell, Leighanna, and Leon Bush, Jr., all of San Diego, CA; four sisters, Charlotte Jackson, Alice Samuels, Debhra Cotton, and Jackie Stone; two brothers, Robert F. Bush, Jr. and Ronald Bush, all of Louisville; several nieces and nephews; and special cousin, Burnette Thurman, Danville.

Cremation was chosen.  Burial will follow in the Camp Nelson Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 11, 2019.  Gash Memorial Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
