Rena Kaye (Black) Lackey

Rena Kaye Black Lackey, 69, of Lawrenceburg, widow of Robert Herman Lackey, Jr., died Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at Frankfort Regional Medical Center.

She was born in Shelbyville, KY to the late William Carter Black and Mildred Sesilia Warfield McCoy. She was a 1971 graduate of Anderson County High School and spent her days as a homemaker.

Rena is survived by her two children, Grace (Gerald) Boblitt, of Chaplin and Eric (Ashlee) Lackey, of Lawrenceburg;2 brothers, John (Gretchen) McCoy, Boston, KY and Kent (Gwen) McCoy, of Lawrenceburg; two sisters, Diane (Marc) Ruble and Karen (Todd) Spear, both of Lawrenceburg; 4 grandchildren, Zoie Raye Winkle, Ariel Danielle Lackey, Aviana Skye Lackey, and Trenton Zane Cocke, all of Lawrenceburg.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, October 1, 2021 at Gash Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in Lawrenceburg Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 11-1 p.m. prior to the service.
