Rayma Mae Poulter Carter, age 86 passed away peacefully January 11, 2020 at Frankfort Regional Medical Center.

She was the daughter of the late Asa Bruce and Georgia Marie Beckham Poulter.  She was a member of First Baptist Church where she attended the New Hope Sunday School Class.  She retired from Square D in Lexington.  She was a graduate of Kavanaugh High School.

She is survived by her husband of 66 years, William Carter of Lawrenceburg; 2 daughters, Jackie (Gerald) Robinson, Salvisa and Lee Ann (Jeff) Young, Lawrenceburg; 2 sisters, Jane Chisholm and Laurene Gaunce both of Lawrenceburg; sister-in-law, Nina Poulter, Lawrenceburg; grandchildren, Crystal (Brandon) McGrew, Jeremy (Pam) Robinson, Jeff (Leslie) Young, Austin (Sara) Young, Leslee (Cody) Hall; Great Grandchildren, Sawyer, Eden and Amos McGrew, Hannah and Olivia Robinson, Maleia and Zoe Young, and Ayrria Solberg.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Bruce Poulter; 2 sisters, Juanita Baxter, and Margaret Ann Harper.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at Gash Memorial with her grandson, Bro. Jeremy Robinson and Bro. George Smith officiating.  Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 4-7 Monday and prior to service Tuesday.  Gash Memorial Chapel in Lawrenceburg in charge of arrangements.

Casketbearers will be Freddy Carter, Keevin Carter, Marty Carter, Bruce Caldwell, Barry Robinson, and Tony Chisholm.  Honorary bearers will be the grandchildren.
