Ralph Gilbert Warford

Ralph Gilbert Warford, 84, of Lawrenceburg, died Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at his residence.

He was born in Anderson County to the late Ernest N. and Mertie Mae Buntain Warford.  He was a member of Full Gospel Assembly of God; and an electrician and former owner of Warford Electric.

Mr. Warford is survived by his wife of 65 years, Alma Jean Bowman Warford, Lawrenceburg; two daughters, Debbie (James) Bottom, Lawrenceburg, and Donna (Michael) Bentley, Versailles; three grandchildren, Carrie (Michael) Slugantz, Versailles, Chad (Vanessa) Snapp and Andrew (Kelly) Smith, both of Lawrenceburg; six great-grandchildren; and sister, Maxine Flynn, Lawrenceburg.

He was preceded in death by four sisters, Gladys Robertson, Lucille Perry, Wilma Hume, Ruth Thacker and Nina Mae Willard; two brothers, Horace Ray and Ernest Stewart Warford.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 19, 2016 at Gash Memorial Chapel with Bro. Kenny Robinson and Bro. Mark Studler officiating.  Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.  Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Wednesday.

Casketbearers will be Chad Snapp, Andrew Smith, Tommy Warford, Tim Robinson, Al Riggs, and Michael Slugantz.  Honorary bearers will be Dylan, Jordan and Savannah Smith, Wyatt Snapp, Kelsey Berger and Aiden Slugantz.
