Onita (Chilton) Cox

Onita Chilton Cox, 82, widow of Ralph Coleman Cox, died Sunday, July 17, 2016 at Frankfort Regional Medical Center.

She was born in Mercer County to the late Horace and Sadie Shelton Chilton.  She was a member of Claylick United Methodist Church; a former employee of Broadway Market; a Customer Service Rep for Lawrenceburg National Bank for 19 years; and a member of Eastern Star Hamilton Chapter #293, in Lawrenceburg.

Mrs. Cox is survived by two sons, Kent C. (Teresa) Cox and Kelly (Tina) Cox; 5 grandchildren, Jeremy, Jacob (Brenda), Levi, and Sharaya Cox, all of Lawrenceburg, and Jonathan (Brittany) Cox, of Bowling Green; two great-grandchildren, Jasmine and Hallie Cox; and brother-in-law, Billy Bottom, all of Lawrenceburg.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Frances Pearson and Lillie Mae Bottom.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at Gash Memorial Chapel with Bro. Shannon Blosser officiating.  Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery.  Visitation 5-8 p.m. Tuesday.
