Nancy Lou (Lane) Coburn

Nancy Lou Shely Lane Coburn, age 76, of Lawrenceburg, died Sunday, February 8, 2016 at her residence.

She was the daughter of the late Charles Bryan and Margaret Ransdell Shely. She was a member of First Christian Church and former organist. She was a retired clerk with the U.S. Postal Service and former organist with Gash Memorial Chapel.

She is survived by her husband, Melvin Bryant Coburn, three daughters, Cindy Lane Robinson, Nancy Ann Lane (Jason) Hudnall, and Amy Lane Jamieson, all of Lawrenceburg; a step son Mike Coburn, Dayton, Ohio; a sister, Mary Ann McGrath, Lawrenceburg; six grandchildren, Emily Basham (Kyle) Thacker, Makenzie Peach, Nicholas Robinson, Sydney Jamieson, all of Lawrenceburg, Marie Currens McWhorter, London, and Chris Currens, Georgetown; five great grandchildren, Brylee Ann and Ellason Lou Thacker, and five other great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Elizabeth Lane Currens.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Friday, February 12, 2016 at First Christian Church with Rev. Jim Wheeler and Bro. John David Lane officiating. Burial will follow in Lawrenceburg Cemetery. Visitation from 5-8 PM Thursday at Gash Memorial Chapel.
