Mildred Frances (Jones) Whitehouse

Mildred Frances Jones Whitehouse, 91, of Lawrenceburg, widow of Bro. Howard Curtis Whitehouse, died Thursday, May 26, 2022 at Frankfort Regional Medical Center.

She was born in Scott County to the late Clarence Scott and Emma Popp Jones. She was a member at Fellowship Baptist Church; 1949 graduate of Scott County High School where she graduated as Valedictorian; and worked as a tele-type operator for the Department of Highways.

Mildred is survived by her two sons, Charles Scott (Sherri) Whitehouse, of Lexington and Timothy Curtis Whitehouse, of Lawrenceburg; 2 grandchildren, Makenzie Paige Whitehouse and Jacob Scott Whitehouse, both of Lexington.

Along with her husband and parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Jean Jones.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at Gash Memorial Chapel at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Carl Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11-2p.m. prior to the service.
