Matthew John Will Detherage

Matthew John Will Detherage, age 30, of Lawrenceburg, died Monday, June 19, 2017.

Mr. Detherage was born in Somerset, KY to Beverly June Turner Detherage, of Lawrenceburg, and the late George Kendall Detherage.  He was a 2005 graduate of Anderson County High School and a fork lift operator at Omega Plastics.

Along with his mother, Matthew is survived by his three sisters, Susan (Charles) Hicks and Tina (Jerry) Hicks, both of Maysville, and Laura B. Wright, Versailles; three brothers, Michael (Brooke) Wright, Versailles, George Kendall (Polly) Detherage, Jr. and Christopher Paul (Megan) Detherage, both of Maysville; grandmother, Eloise Detherage, Lawrenceburg; aunts, Carolyn Turner, Lawrenceburg and Cauda (Ray) Alley, Monticello; uncle, Carl (Nora) Mosley, Cuba, MO; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Besides his father, Matthew was preceded in death by his grandfather, George Valentine.

There will be a private service for the family at a later date.  Gash Memorial chapel is in charge of arrangements.
