Margie Ann Tingle Wilson Jacobs, 85, passed away January 26, 2025. She was born April 13, 1939 in Shelbyville, KY.
She lived in Shelbyville and Frankfort, KY.
It is our family's greatest regret to inform of our mother's passing after taking a turn for the worse in late stage Dementia. She passed away calmly and peacefully in her daughter's and Son-in-Law's Home in Lancaster Ky. Praise God she is with her Lord and Savior that she loved so well. Mom grew up on a farm and her parents raised a big family in Shelbyville KY.
Mom was the most amazing Mother, Wife, Grandmother and Great Grandmother and Caregiver and Friend. She was a very Selfless person who put her family before herself. She made so many sacrifices in life for her Family, and she raised 6 Children of her own in Shelbyville Ky.
Mom career was her love in life, Caregiving for Terminally Ill patients and she was on Top of the List of Referrals for Hospice for
20 years. She remembers getting the phone call from Mitch McConnell at his Washington DC office for his mother in Shelbyville. Mom took care of her for two years after. She was a caregiver for Seniors independently as well. She just knew what to do and it all came natural for her. Mom also had her own daycare for children for several years in Frankfort, KY. Children loved and adored Mom. When Mom was younger, she worked with Daddy at a Meat locker meat cutting in Shelbyville, KY and she worked at Gateway Grocery in Frankfort, KY for years and my Dad cut meat there. They both worked so hard to feed all 6 of us. Mom also worked at Roses and Walmart Department Manager in Shelbyville for many years.
Mom's greatest love was to her family and she loved having those Babies, Grandbabies and Great grandbabies in her arms all the time. She loved big get togethers where she could cook for everyone and I mean she had a table full of food every time and every Holiday. She also liked to draw and paint ceramics; she loved sewing and crocheting and let me tell you she could make a home feel like a home in no time.
Mom was Preceded in death by Both Husbands, Gerald Thomas Wilson Sr. of Shelbyville, married for 43 Years and Ramond G Jacobs of Frankfort, KY, Married for 14 Years, her sons, Gerald Thomas Wilson Jr. Frankfort, KY. and Randal Scott Wilson Frankfort, KY, parents Roy Beckham Tingle and Sarah Elizabeth Vest Tingle, siblings, Sylvanious Tingle, Gertrude Tingle Bailey ,James Roy Tingle, Lula Mae Tingle Parrish, William Bill Tingle, Sarah Frances Tingle Stamper, Eveline Tingle, Lawrence Gene Tingle, Cecil Tingle.
