Margaret Ellen Winters

Margaret Ellen Winters, 81, passed away Sunday, March 3, 2024 in Scottsburg, Indiana.

She was born in Humphrey, Kentucky to the late Dora Bastin and Owen Warfield. Margaret retired from Bellsouth Telephone Company after 25 years of service as an Operator and Administrator Report Clerk.

Ms. Winters is survived by three sons, Jeff and Tony Winters of Scottsburg, Indiana, and Ray Winters (Anna) of Frankfort, Kentucky; two grandchildren Angelia Wilburn and Melissa Wright (Montana); three great grandchildren, Logan Harrod, Ella Stacy, and Cal Wright; and sister Miriam Genevieve Gaunce of Lexington, Kentucky.

She was preceded in death by a grandson, Ryan Winters.

Funeral service will be held 12:00 P.M. Thursday, March 7, 2024 at Noon & Son Funeral Home, 332 S. Main St. Lawrenceburg, Kentucky. Burial will follow in Lawrenceburg Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 10am until time of service at the funeral home.
