Margaret Louise (Hanks) Stratton

Margaret Louise Hanks Stratton, 81, of Salvisa, died Monday, April 11, 2016 at her residence.
She was born in Anderson County to the late Melburn and Alice Ray Phillips Hanks. She was a member at Sand Spring Baptist Church; graduate of Kavanaugh High School; and was a homemaker.
Mrs. Stratton is survived by her husband of 62 years, J.B. Stratton; one son, George Kevin (Jamie) Stratton, both of Salvisa; brother, Jim (Edith) Hanks; sister, Carolyn (Davis) McMichael, both of Lawrenceburg; grandchildren, Shanna (Shane) Burris, Ben (Katie) Stratton, Kerri Stratton, Sara (David) Roberts; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son, James Robert Stratton.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 14, 2016 at Gash Memorial Chapel with Dr. Mike Hamrick officiating. Burial will follow in Hebron Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Wednesday.
Casketbearers will be David Roberts, Ricky Gash, Shane Burris, Mark Gash, Douglas Gash, and Ben Stratton.
