Linda Mae (Lowell) Schierer

Linda Mae Lowell Schierer, 78, of Lawrenceburg, widow of Richard Ferdinand Schierer, died Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at her residence.

She was born in Peoria, IL to the late Donald Glenn and Eleaner Palmer Lowell. She was a graduate of Wyoming High School; member at Sand Spring Baptist Church where she was active in the Pathfinder's Sunday School class; and retired from Caterpillar where she worked as a systems analyst for 30 years.

Linda is survived by two sons, Donald G. (Rhonda) Schierer, Lawrenceburg and Guy Allen Schierer, of Nebraska; four grandchildren, Kaycie Len Carter, Lawrenceburg, Cori Lynn (Nick) Villani, Missouri, Ashley Marie (Kirk) McElheny, Missouri, and Jacob Schierer, Nebraska; and four great-grandchildren, Jay Carter Sparrow, Nina Villani, Layla Villani, and Chase McElheny.

Along with her husband and parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Sandra James.

Memorial service will be 4:00 p.m. Sunday, October 22, 2017 at Sand Spring Baptist Church with Dr. Mike Hamrick officiating. Visitation 3-5 p.m Sunday. Gash Memorial Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
