Lawrence Darrell "Larry" Brown, 79, of Lawrenceburg, husband for 57 years to Helen Riley Brown, died Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at the Frankfort Regional Medical Center.

Larry was born in Anderson County to the late James and Lucy Katherine Stucker Brown.  He was a U.S. Navy veteran; member of Faith Temple Pentecostal Church in Danville; retired in 1990 from IBM after working in Assembly Quality Control and Maintenance for 25 years; and also attended realtor school.

Besides his wife, Larry is survived by a son, Larry B. Scott (Cindy) Brown; daughter, Rhonda (Don) Schierer, all of Lawrenceburg; 4 sisters, Sherry Botts, Durhum, N.C., Charlene (Kenny) Goodpastor, Sue Neff, and Virginia, all of Lexington; 3 grandchildren, Kasey Lynn Carter, Joshua Brown, and Jacob Brown; and great- grandchild, Jay Carter Sparrow, all of Lawrenceburg.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Janet Billings; and grandson, Kenneth Curtsinger.

A memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 5, 2017 at Faith Temple Pentecostal Church in Danville, KY with Rev. Jolene Bailey officiating. Visitation 1-2 p.m. prior to service.  Gash Memorial Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
