Kathryn (Whitehead) Smith

Kathryn Whitehead Smith, 60, widow of Jackie Eugene Smith, of Lawrenceburg, died Saturday, November 12, 2016 at her residence.

She was born in Hyden, KY to the late Ralph John and Hazel Hall Whitehead. She was a member at the Church of Christ and spent her days being a homemaker.

Ms. Smith is survived by one son, Joshua Hugh (Amanda Woods) Renner; stepson, Jackie Dwayne (Angela) Smith; stepdaughter, LaDana (Larry) Daily, all of Lawrenceburg; two sisters, Carol Jean (Jerry) Leard, Jackson, TN, Bardie Mattingly; brother, John (Cathy) Whitehead, both of Lawrenceburg; and one granddaughter, Emma Paige Renner.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Jeannie Marie Hargis and brother, Wiley Whitehead.

Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, November 17, 2016 at Lawrenceburg Cemetery with Bro. Burt Paden officiating. Burial will follow in Lawrenceburg Cemetery.

Cremation was chosen. Gash Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
