Justo Edelmin Pérez Suazo, aged 85, passed away peacefully on November 26, surrounded by his loving family. A man of gentle spirit and quiet curiosity, his wisdom, values, strength, and unwavering love shaped the lives of all who knew him. His memory will remain a lasting blessing.

Edelmin is survived by his beloved children:

• Edelmin González Ruiz (Ana) and their children Carolina, Gabriela, Eduardo, and Martin Alexander; and his great-grandchildren Luna, Lucas, and Mateo.

• Florencia Bray (Michael) and their children Johnathan and Sofia.

• Nora Pérez and her son Isaac Mendoza.

• Johana Pérez Weisenberger (Matthew) and their daughters Emilia and Elena.

• Justo Edelmin Pérez and his daughters Madison and Reese.

• Isabel Pérez.

• Arturo Pérez (Jacqueline) and their daughter Beatriz.

He is also survived by his former spouse, Regina Pérez; his partner, Roselia Arely Rivera; and his siblings Delia Pérez de Ruiz, Arturo Pérez, Héctor Román Pérez, Odilón Pérez, Nora A. Pérez, Zoe Farina Pérez, and Glenda Pérez. He leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and an extended family who cherished him deeply.

A dedicated civil engineer for more than 25 years, Edelmin leaves a tangible legacy across Honduras—buildings, schools, bridges and roads that continue to serve communities throughout the country. He also devoted many years to public service as a diputado for the Partido Liberal, representing the department of Santa Bárbara, and later as Director of SECOPT in the Valle de Sula region. His work, humility, and commitment to his country stand as enduring testaments to his vision, integrity, and love for Honduras.

Edelmin was preceded in death by his parents, Arturo Pérez and Nora Suazo; his sisters Aura Pérez de Morales and Alma Pérez de Aguilar; and his brothers Olinto Pérez and Odilio Pérez.

A Celebration of Life will be held in Macuelizo, Honduras, C.A., where family and friends will gather to honor and remember a life marked by kindness, humility, and profound devotion to those he loved. His gentle soul and thoughtful wisdom will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
