Juanita (Drury) Freeman

Juanita Drury Freeman, age 89, of Lawrenceburg, widow of Delmer Freeman, died Sunday, June 18, 2017 at the Frankfort Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Freeman was born in Anderson County to the late Jessie and Marey Grider Drury.  She was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church; a retired hairdresser; and a former cafeteria worker at Saffell Street Elementary School.

Juanita is survived by her son, Jesse Dale Freeman; four sisters, Marie Spaulding, Bonnie Casey, Donna (Eunice) Satterly, and Jean (Darrell) Sea; brother, Ernie Drury; two grandchildren, Ethan and Keegan Freeman along with their mother, Melissa Freeman; daughter-in-law, Anne Blakeman Freeman; sister-in-law, Nellie Drury, all of Lawrenceburg; and brother-in-law, Buddy White, Bloomfield.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Ronnie and Carroll Freeman; four sisters, Pauline White, Eva Mae, Beulah, and Ulea Drury; two brothers, Alvin and Wilmer Drury.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 23, 2017 at Gash Memorial Chapel with Bro. Steve Broughton officiating.  Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery.  Visitation 4-8 p.m. Thursday.

Serving as casket bearers will be her nephews and grandsons.  Honorary bearers will be her nieces.
