Jordan Winston Searcy

Jordan Winston Searcy, beloved daddy, son, brother, grandson, nephew, and cousin passed away on Friday, October 18, 2024.  Jordan was born in Frankfort, KY to the late James Winston Searcy and Jami Ellis Searcy.  He was a 2009 graduate of Anderson County High School and received trade school training in heavy equipment operation and electric apprenticeship, having worked in these trades for more than ten years.

Jordan grew up in Lawrenceburg where he attended Saffell Street School and Anderson Middle School.  He was an avid outdoorsman, craftsman, artist and poet.  His greatest joy and his proudest title was that of "Daddy" to his beautiful and sassy daughter, Harper Tate Searcy.   Harper was born in July of 2020 and was the absolute sunshine of Jordan's life.  The resemblance between the two is uncanny and the personalities are nearly identical.

Jordan was preceded in death by his father, James Winston Searcy, his paternal grandparents, James Cleveland Searcy and Susan Stratton Searcy; his maternal grandfathers, Charles Garner Ellis and Melvin Farmer.  He is survived by his loving mother, Jami; his siblings, Tiffinee Goodlett, Brad Searcy, Sean Searcy, Lisa Preston, and Lyn Searcy; his maternal grandmother, Sherry Farmer; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, as well as many life-long friends.

A celebration of life will be held 7:00 p.m. Thursday, October 24, 2024  at Noon and Son Funeral Home, 332 South Main, Lawrenceburg, KY. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until time of service. Friends and family wishing to share memories of Jordan are encouraged to do so.  In lieu of flowers, the family recommends donations to the Alzheimer's Association, any Veterans organization, or Tyrone Baptist Church.
