John Henry Disponett

John Henry Disponett, 97, husband of 81 years to Lovena Drury Disponett, of Lawrenceburg, passed away Saturday, May 7, 2022 at his residence.

He was born in Anderson County to the late James Tyler and Nora Searcy Disponett. Mr. Disponett worked for over 30 years for National Distillery where he retired; member at First Baptist Church; and enjoyed farming, hunting and fishing in his spare time.

Along with his wife he is survived by two daughters, Roxie Ann (Clark) Rowland and Patsy Kearns, both of Lawrencburg; 4 grandchildren, Dale Rowland, Jamie (Chrystal) Rowland, Cheri Murphy, and John Michael (Kelley) Kearns, all of Lawrenceburg; great-grandchildren, Jessica (Nolan) Walls, Jason Rowland, Kirby Rowland, Evan Rowland, Laney Rowland, Jake Rowland, Zach (Kelsey) Kearns, Kylee Kearns and Khloe Kearns; 14 great-great grandchildren; 1 great-great-great grandson; brother, Dave (Brenda) Disponett; sister, Mary Lacefield; and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Disponett was preceded in death by his brothers, Bernice Disponett and JP Disponett; and sisters, Edith Hawkins, Carrie Durr, Delcie Morgan, and Susie B Wiley.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at Gash Memorial Chapel with Dr. Robert F. Ehr and Dr. Jeff Eaton officiating. Burial will follow in Lawrenceburg Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. on Tuesday and prior to the service from 9-11 a.m. on Wednesday.

Casket bearers will be Dave Disponett, Tony Disponett, Dale Rowland, Jamie Rowland, John Michael Kearns and Zach Kearns. Honorary bearers will be his McDonald friends.
