John Sea Barnett

John Sea Barnett, age 85, of Lawrenceburg, widow of Margaret Barnett, died Sunday, June 28, 2015 at his residence.

He was born in Anderson County to the late Ollie H. and Hazel Sea Barnett. He was a retired Equestrian Trainer.

Mr. Barnett is survived by daughter, Betty Perry, IN; two sisters, Linda (Chester) Sutherland, Lawrenceburg; Gertrude Conway, Mt. Washington; brother, Linual (Florence) Barnett, Lawrenceburg; three grandsons, Darrin and Marty Bowling, and Michael Sturgill, all of IN; 6 great-grandchildren; two special nieces, Tasha (Stevie) Kincaid and Melissa (Charlie) Monroe, Lawrenceburg; special friend, Arnetta Wainscott, IN; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Idell Thurman and Brenda Stucker; five brothers, Clayborne, Ruben, Ralph, Aaron and Thurl Barnett.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, July 3, 2015 at Gash Memorial Chapel with Bro. Randy Peyton and Bro. Al Peach. Burial will follow in the Friendship Cemetery. Visitation 5-9 p.m. Thursday.

Casketbearers will be Mickey Springate, Carl Barnett, Trenton Vincent, Joseph Sea, Stevie Barnett and Johnny Barnett. Honorary bearers will be Gilbert Sea, Darrin and Marty Bowling, J.R. Barnett, J.N. Coffey, Jeff Barnett, Lucas Kincaid, Dalton Sutherland and Derrick Monroe.
