John Barber

John Barber, 60, passed away November 17, 2025 at Frankfort Regional Medical Center. He was born November 27, 1964 to the late Carl Dorsey Barber Sr. and Mary Elizabeth Austin Barber. John was a cook at Stewart Home & School. One of his greatest times was taking his grandchildren fishing and spending time with his family.

Survived by his sons, John Garnette and Christopher R. Barber both of Frankfort, KY. A brother, Larry Barber (Peggy) of Frankfort, KY. Grandchildren, Atreus Barber and Emery Huff-Roland.

Along with his parents, John was preceded in death by his siblings, Carl Dorsey Barber Jr., Debra Jean Green, Hazel Faye Martin, and Clarice A. Burch.

A celebration of his life will be from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM November 21, 2025 at Frankfort Plant Board Club House 98 Tanglewood Drive, Frankfort, KY.
