Jean (Satterly) Robinson

Jean Satterly Robinson, 90, of Harrodsburg, widow of J.R. Robinson, died Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at her residence.

Mrs. Robinson was born in Washington County to the late James Virgil and Matha Darnell Satterly.  She attended Campbellsville University where she earned a Provisional Degree in Teaching, and formerly taught at Kirkland Elementary School for seven years before she married.  She was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church and a homemaker.

Jean is survived by her two children, James (Lynn) Robinson, Lawrenceburg, and Linda (Joe) Fisher, Frankfort; four grandchildren, Jacob Robinson, Amanda (Bob) Black, Jessica (Mike) Martinez, Katie Miller; and

three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son, Brian Robinson; daughter, Connie Robinson French; grandson, Alex French; son-in-law, Joe French; two sisters; and one brother.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, February 28, 2022 at Gash Memorial Chapel with Pastor Larry Gritton officiating.  Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery.  Visitation 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. prior to the service.

Pall bearers will be Mike Robinson, Jeff Robinson, Brandon Robinson, Jacob Robinson, David Sutherland, and Joe Fisher.  Honorary bearers will be Bob Black and Jackson Von Hoene.
