Janet Rose (Stockton) Chilton

Janet Rose Stockton Chilton, 71, wife for 53 years to John Dudley "J.D." Chilton, Sr., of Lawrenceburg, passed away Monday, June 14, 2021 at the Frankfort Regional Medical Center.

Janet was born in Frankfort, Kentucky to the late William Clayton Stockton and Marie Louise Hockensmith Cubert.  She was a 1968 graduate of Anderson County High School; member of Claylick United Methodist Church; retired from Family Affair; and a housewife.

She is survived by a son, John Dudley (Laura) Chilton, Jr.; daughter, Tasha (Mike) Harrod; eight grandchildren, Cody (Amber) Becknell, Ian (Miah), Andrew, and Aaron Chilton, Austin and Tanner Watts, Cameron and Cole Harrod; great-grandson, Clayton Becknell, all of Lawrenceburg; five siblings, Mark (Beonka) Stockton, Karen Stockton, and David (Julie) Cubert, all of Lawrenceburg, Walter (Beverly) Stockton, Alabama, and Tammy Cubert, Frankfort; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 19, 2021 at Gash Memorial Chapel with Pastor Johnathan Jones officiating.  Burial will follow in the Hebron Cemetery.  Visitation 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. Saturday prior to the service.

Pall bearers will be the grandchildren.  Honorary bearers will be Chuck Nichols, Glenn Mayewski, Miah Martin, Kelsey Sutherland, and Amber Baker.
