Janet (Mcintyre) Burton

Janet Burton, age 70, of Lawrenceburg, widow of Johnie Burton, died Friday, August 3, 2018 at Frankfort Regional Medical Center.

She was born in Frankfort to the late Morton and Juanita Woolums McIntyre. She was a member at First Baptist Church and worked in revenue for the Kentucky State Government for 30 years.

She is survived by two daughters, Amy Elizabeth (Carl) McRoberts, April (John) Frye, both of Frankfort; brother, William Cleon McIntyre, of Berea; five grandchildren, Hannah Frye, Della Grace Frye, Tanner McRoberts, and Kirstin McRoberts.

Along with her parents and husband she was preceded in death by two brothers, Phillip and James McIntyre.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, August 6, 2018 at Gash Memorial Chapel with Dr. Robert F. Ehr officiating. Burial will follow in Lawrenceburg Cemetery. Visitation will be 11-1 p.m. Monday before the service.

Casketbearers will be John Frye, Carl McRoberts, Chris McIntyre, Cleon McIntyre, and Norman Frye.
