Haskell Lowell Jewell, Jr.

Haskell Lowell Jewell, Jr., 88, husband of 67 years to Anna Louise Rice Jewell, of Lawrenceburg, died Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at Frankfort Regional Medical Center.

He was born in Paris, Arkansas to the late Haskell Lowell Jewell, Sr. and Beulah Jean Cole Jewell. He was a member at Lawrenceburg United Methodist Church; US Air Force Veteran that served during the Korean War on the 380th Bomb Squadron; and worked as an operating engineer for KEC Construction Company.

Along with his wife he is survived by two children, Julie A. Harris, Lawrenceburg and Joseph L. (Patti) Jewell, Ontario, CA; sister-in-law, Rena Jewell, Clairmont, CA; two grandchildren, Daniel (Carmen) Jewell, Orange, CA and Timothy (Nicole Duong) Jewell, Ontario, CA; and two great-grandchildren, Sophia and Marcus Jewell.

Including his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Lionel Jewell.

A memorial service will be held December 7, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Lawrenceburg United Methodist Church with Pastor Errol Archerson officiating. Visitation will start at 10:00 a.m.  Gash Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
