Harold Allison Stockton

Harold Allison Stockton, age 91, of Lawrenceburg, died Saturday, March 26, 2016 at Frankfort Regional Medical Center.

He is the son of the late Davis Doyle and Jessie Belle Stockton.  He served during WWII in the U.S. Navy on the USS Zane.  He was a member of First Baptist Church where he was in the Fishers of Men Sunday school class.  He was owner of Stockton Contracting, and a member of the American Legion Post 34, and Veterans of Foreign War of Frankfort post 4075.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Mary Annelle Stine Stockton; daughter, Mary Allison Stockton; son, Harold Wayne (Sherrill) Stockton; grandchildren, Doug (Teri Jean) Stockton, David (Sarah) Stockton, all of Lawrenceburg, and Sarah (Tommy) Shirley, Harrodsburg; great grandchildren, T.W Stockton, Brice Stockton, Chloe Stockton, Kinsley Stockton, Kobie Shirley, and Cooper Shirley.

He was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Annacelia Heilman, and Aljean Litwin; 2 brothers, Lenwood and Clayton Stockton.

Funeral services 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at Gash Memorial Chapel with Dr. Robert F. Ehr officiating.  Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery with military honors.  Visitation will be from 5:00 – 8:00 P.M. Monday.

Casketbearers will be Doug Stockton, David Stockton, Tommy Shirley, T.W. Stockton, Brice Stockton, Walter Stockton, Mark Stockton, and Clayton Stockton.
