Georgia May (Gelushia) Davis

Georgia May Gelushia Davis, age 99, of Lawrenceburg, widow of M. Leslie Davis, died Thursday, January 18, 2018 at Signature Heritage Hall.

Ms. Davis was born in Drumright, Oklahoma to the late Lafayette and Armittie Carnahan Gelushia.  She was a member of First Baptist Church in Donovan, Missouri; retired LPN from River District Hospital in Michigan; and attended Crafts for Christ at Sand Spring Baptist Church.

Georgia is survived by three daughters, Virginia Moses, Michigan; Eugenia VanderMarliere, Lawrenceburg, KY; Darlyn (Gary) Clark, Versailles, KY; 18 grandchildren; several great and great-great grandchildren; brother, Clifford Gelushia, Colorado.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Daniel Foxx and Howard Bear; three brothers, Edward, Paul, and Warren Gelushia; five sisters; and two previous husbands, Hybert Bear and Glenn Foxx.

Cremation was chosen.  Gash Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
