Gene Richard Cummins
May 16, 1954 — July 17, 2017
Gene Richard Cummins, 63, of Frankfort, died Monday, July 17, 2017 at the UK Medical Center.
He was born in Woodford County to the late John Allen Cummins and Elsie Pauline Dennis Carpenter.
Mr. Cummins is survived by his children, Ricky Cummins, Cinnamon Cummins, Cherish Cummins, Julie Cummins, and John Michael Evans; one brother, Morris "Moose" Cummins, of Lawrenceburg; girlfriend of 25 years, Dorothy Tackett; and several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday July 20, 2017 at Gash Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11-1 p.m. prior to the service.
Casket bearers will be Chris Purvis, Ben Purvis, Terry Wilson, Daniel Cummins, Robbie Cummins, and Bobby Cummins. Honorary bearers will be Ricky and Austin Cummins.
