Gary Rubin Martin

Gary Rubin Martin, 80, husband of 60 years to Linda Sue Martin, of Frankfort, died Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at his residence.

He was born in Anderson County to the late Homer and Gypsy Franklin Martin. Gary was a member at Hillcrest Baptist Church; 1959 graduate of Anderson County High School; and worked in contractor sales for UBS in lumber yards.

Along with his wife he is survived by three children, Gordon (Vickie) Martin, of Frankfort, Mark (Shelia) Martin), and Stephanie (Kenny) Gathof, both of Shepherdsville; 7 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Martin was preceded in death by a daughter, Belinda Robin Martin; grandson, Gordon Davis Martin, Jr.; 3 brothers; and 1 sister.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date and burial will follow in Pigeon Fork Cemetery.
