Francis Kelly Mcentyre

Francis Kelly McEntyre, 78, passed from this life to eternal life on June 15, 2020.

Kelly was born in Covington, KY on October 13,1941 to the late Clarence and Pearle Wallace McEntyre.

He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Mary Jo McEntyre; son, Danny (Janet) McEntyre; five grandchildren, Amanda (Jeff) Roberts, Alisha (Sean) Wells, Justin McEntyre, Jennifer (Joe) White, Jay (Caroline) Smith; two special friends, Gayle and Tom Smith; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Kelly was preceded in death by a son, Richard Kelly McEntyre and two brothers.

He was a member at First Christian Church Disciples of Christ; Anderson Lodge #90 where he served as Master; Louisville Scottish Rites; and Oleika Shrine Temple. He graduated from Holmes High School and received an Associates Degree from BCTC. He was also retired from Universal Fasteners where he worked as a sales manager.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are suggested to First Christian Church, 300 S. Main St. Lawrenceburg, KY 40342 or Bluegrass Care Navigators 663 Teton Trail Frankfort, KY 40601.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic a private service will be held at a later date. Gash Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
