Forrest Wayne Searcy

Forrest Wayne Searcy, 71, husband of 50 years to Mary Ann Howell Searcy, of Frankfort, died Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at his residence.

He was born in Anderson County to the late Marion Sherman and Mary Helen Potts Searcy. He was a member at Pleasant Hill Church; worked for Mid-America Bridge Co. for 27 years; and Judy C. Harp for 10 years.

Along with his wife Forrest is survived by three children, Douglas Wayne Searcy, of Lawrenceburg, Joey Lee (Crystal) Searcy, Mt. Eden and Melissa Redmon, of Frankfort; brother, Collis Searcy, of Lawrenceburg; sister, Mary Frances (Ernest) Lisby, of Shelbyville; 7 grandchildren, Lee Ellen Searcy, Lauren Abigail Searcy, Samantha Jo Searcy, Ethan Lucas Searcy, Chelsey Nicole Redmon, Elijah Wyatt Redmon and Jordan Douglas Searcy; 5 great-grandchildren.

Mr. Searcy was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles and Ray Searcy.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at Gash Memorial Chapel with Bro. Roy Temple, Jr. officiating. Cremation will follow after the service. Visitation will be on Monday from 5-8 p.m.
