Faye (Rainwater) Hogue

Faye Rainwater Hogue, age 96, of Wilmore, widow of William Haskell Hogue, went to Heaven surrounded by her family Thursday, February 14, 2019 at her residence.

Mrs. Hogue was born in Casey County to the late Welcome Joseph and Viola Iverson Hodge Rainwater.  She was a member of Wilmore Free Methodist Church; a member of Rainwater Sisters; and a homemaker.

Faye is survived by her six children, Danny (Connie) Hogue, David (Nancy) Hogue, and Jody (Charles) Brock, all of Wilmore, Betty Louise (James) Staton and Gary (Amy) Hogue, both of Nicholasville, and Roger (Leigh Ann) Hogue, of Lexington; sister, Suzie (David) Hall, of Lexington.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Ed, Ezra, and Everett Rainwater; sisters, Merlie Mae Hogue, Alice Walker, and Vina Gullett.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, February 18, 2019 at Bethel Christian Church with Bro.Bill Bales officiating.  Burial will follow in Bluegrass Memorial Gardens.  Visitation will be from 3-7 p.m. on Sunday at the church.
