Evelyn Riley (Robinson) Mcgee

Evelyn Robinson Riley McGee, 83, wife of 14 years to Jesse McGee, Jeffersontown, died Sunday, November 27, 2016 at her residence.

She was born in Mercer County to the late Roy and Verna Currens Robinson. She was a member at Chenoweth Park Baptist Church and spent her days as a housewife.

Along with her husband she is survived by four sons, Garry Lynn (Carolyn) Riley, Walter (Jessica) McGee, both of Jeffersontown, Dennis (Joann) McGee, Shepherdsville, and Rob McGee, of Louisville; three daughters, Regina (Gary) Gallagher, of Jeffersontown, Kim (David) Chapman, Fisherville, and Joann (Ron) Orange, of Scottsville; brother, L.H. Robinson; sister, Elberta Sea, both of Lawrenceburg; 16 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, W.R. Riley; granddaughter, Jennifer Riley; brothers, Eugene, J.D., Hubert, and Randall Robinson; and sister, Adeline Keightley.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 1, 2016 at Gash Memorial Chapel with Bro. John Perry officiating. Burial will follow in Lawrenceburg Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, November 30, 2016 from 2-8 p.m. at Ratterman and Sons Funeral Home in Jeffersontown, KY, and Thursday 10-2 p.m. prior to service at Gash Memorial Chapel.

Casket bearers will be Adam Linderman, Michael Gallagher, Patrick Gallagher, Joseph Chapman, Stephen Chapman, and Edan Wright.
