Eunice Fay (Lane) Townsend

Eunice Fay Lane Townsend, 75, wife of 45 years to Larry Dale Townsend, of Lawrenceburg, died Friday, March 18, 2022 at her residence.

She was born in Valeria, KY to the late Charlie and Carmie Helton Lane. She is a member at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church and retired from Kuhlman Electric where she worked as a line operator. Eunice was very passionate about her family and in her spare time loved to garden and can vegetables.

Along with her husband she is survived by two children, Carmie (Randy) Harrod, of Frankfort and Charles Wayne Miller, of Lawrenceburg; two sisters, Janet (Don) Powell, Cynthiana and Beaulah Creech, of Irvine; two grandchildren, Jessica (Chris) Lawson and Joshua (Stacey) Shown, both of Lawrenceburg; two step-grandchildren, Nathan (Fancy) Harrod, Frankfort and Shari (Charles) Landsberg, Lawrenceburg; one great-grandchild, London Lawson; and two step great-grandchildren, Maggie and Marci Harrod; and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Townsend was preceded in death by sisters, Elsie Hughes, Eliza Creech, Imogene Creech and Mary Ruth Lane; brothers, Leonard Lane, JB Lane, Perry Lane and Bill Lane.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at Gash Memorial Chapel with Bro. Carl Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Lawrenceburg Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday from 4-7 p.m.

Casket bearers will be Joshua Shown, Chris Lawson, David Creech, Greg White, Gary Creech and Nathan Harrod.
