Elbert Ranzel Cox, Jr.

Elbert Ranzel Cox, Jr., 49, of Danville, died August 28, 2023 at his residence.

He was born in Casey County to the late Debra Angel Stuart and Elbert Ranzel Cox, Sr. He was a graduate of Anderson County High School; enjoyed riding his motorcycle and playing pool with friends. He also enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren, fiancé and step-daughter.

Mr. Cox is survived by a daughter, Jordan (Ross) Madden, of Flemingsburg, KY and three sons, Austin (Kim) Cox, Jacksonville, NC; Dallas Cox, and Dakota Cox, both of Flemingsburg, KY; step-daughter, Madison Smith; 4 grandchildren, Jaxon Banks, Jenson Banks, Jada Madden, and Destiny Cox; fiancé, Heather Smith, of Danville; brother, Danny Cox, Lawrenceburg; and many nephews and cousins.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, David Cox.

A Celebration of Life was held on September 3, 2023. Noon & Son Funeral Home, formerly Gash Memorial Chapel was in charge of the arrangements.
