Edna Gladys "Dot" Carter Baxter, age 93, widow of James Ralph Baxter, of Lexington, died Thursday, March 19, 2020 at Harrodsburg Healthcare.

Mrs. Baxter was born in Anderson County to the late James Lester and Mamie Gibson Carter.  She was a graduate of Kavanaugh High School and 1962 graduate of Kentucky Business College; member of Tate's Creek Christian Church; and former Secretary for Jessie M. Clark Middle School where she retired.

Dot is survived by three brothers, Bondy Carter, William Carter, and Roy Carter; sister, Shirley Robinson, all of Lawrenceburg; and several nieces and nephews.

She was proceeded in death by six brothers, Ollie, David "Dee", Samuel, Marshall, Garnet, and Harold Carter; three sisters, Lelia Birdwhistell, Frances Waterfill, and Agnes Carter.

A private service will be held at Gash Memorial Chapel and private burial at Lawrenceburg Cemetery.
