Edna Mae Carlton Hawkins Dotson, 88, of Lawrenceburg, widow of Maurice Hawkins and Wallace Dotson, died Sunday, November 14, 2021 at her residence.

Mrs. Dotson was born in Anderson County to the late Hazzel and Lacy Ball Carlton.  She was a homemaker and member of the Full Gospel Assembly of God, where she volunteered in Vocational Bible School, cooked, and taking food.  She enjoyed visiting people, reading her bible, and spending time with family.

Special thanks to all Hospice nurses, and her special nurse, Amber Warfield.

She is survived by her children, Judy Kincaid, Darlene Kincaid, James Carlton "JC" (Connie) Hawkins, Keith Allen Hawkins, Dwayne (Jane) Hawkins, all of Lawrenceburg; several step-children; nine grandchildren; brother, Curtis (Carol) Carlton; and several great and great-great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by twin brother, Jesse Ray Carlton; brothers, JH Carlton, Tommy Carlton, Eugene Carlton; sisters, Juanita Sutherland and Teenie Smitha.

Funeral services will be Friday, November 26, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Gash Memorial Chapel. Visitation will be from 11-1 p.m.  Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery.
