Drew Averie Claunch, beloved daughter of Kevin Izaiah Claunch and Addison Grace Stopher Claunch, passed away peacefully on July 25, 2025 in Lexington, Ky. She was born at 6:14am, and she entered into the arms of Jesus at 9:02am the same day.
Although Drew's time on earth was brief, the joy she brought to her family is immeasurable. She was a fighter like her Mama, holding on much longer than any of the doctors or nurses expected her to. She was absolutely beautiful. All the doctors, nurses, and any friends or family who visited couldn't get over her perfect little nose and were constantly complimenting it. She had gorgeous little blonde eyebrows and eyelashes, and her little chin was the cutest.
Drew was and will always be incredibly loved. She was prayed for before she was even created, and her loss leaves a hole in the hearts of her family that can never be filled or replaced. She will never be forgotten, and will be remembered every minute of every single day.
Drew is survived by her parents, Kevin and Addison Claunch of Harrodsburg, Ky. She is also survived by her maternal grandmother, Tracey Stopher of Harrodsburg, Ky, paternal grandparents Brittney and Tim Hill of Lawrenceburg, Ky, maternal great-grandmothers Angie Herald of Harrodsburg, Ky and Cynthia Stopher of Lawrenceburg, Ky, paternal great-grandparents, Kevin and Donna Claunch and paternal great-great-grandparents, the late Ed and Shirley Hudson, all of Harrodsburg, Ky. Survivors also include three aunts — Kelsey Stopher and Madelyn Stopher of Harrodsburg, Ky, Elyn Hill of Lawrenceburg, Ky, two uncles — Deakin Hill of Lawrenceburg, Ky, and Noah Clem of Danville, Ky and several great aunts and uncles, cousins, and extended family who love Baby Drew very much.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Robby Stopher, maternal great-grandfathers, Bob Stopher and Fred Herald.
Visitation will be open to anyone who wants to support the family from 11:00am-1:00pm on Friday, August 1, 2025 at Noon & Son Funeral Home, 332 S. Main Street, Lawrenceburg, KY. A private burial for close family only will follow.
Noon & Son Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with final care.
