Donnie Lee (Foley) Spaulding

Donnie Lee Foley Spaulding, 78, widow of Lonnie Lee Spaulding, Sr., died Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at the Frankfort Regional Medical Center.

She was born in Versailles, KY to the late John Edward and Bertha Underwood Foley. She was a 1958 graduate of Woodford Co. High School; member of Freedom Baptist Church; member of the Women's Auxillary American Legion #34; retired from the Department of Transportation; and was a bus monitor for the Anderson County School System for 11 years.

Ms. Spaulding is survived by one daughter, Jonnie Gay (Frank) Horneman; son, Lonnie Lee (Mattie) Spaulding, Jr., both of Lawrenceburg; sister, Linda Bell Bryant, Stanford; four grandchildren, Jesse Thomas Spaulding, of TX, Justin Spaulding (Kelcie) Hughes, Versailles, Katelyn Danielle (Jeremy) Cooper, of Columbia, and Krista Michelle Spaulding, of Lawrenceburg.

Along with her husband she was preceded in death by a daughter, Carolyn Ann Hughes, and sister, Wilma Jean Lear.

A visitation will be held Sunday, January 29, 2017 at Gash Memorial Chapel from 11-3 p.m. A graveside service will immediately follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery. Cremation was chosen. Gash Memorial Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.

Honorary bearers will be Tyler Hill, Marty Bertram, Shawn Caldwell, Kevin Lear, David Hughes, Jesse Spaulding, Amy Tucker, Dawn Royalty, Sherry Thomas, Debbie Trayner, Lori Hill, Marilyn Nutgrass, Linda Scott, and Lilly Caldwell.
