Donald Wells

Donald Wells, 69, of Lawrenceburg, husband for 46 years to Sandra Wells, died Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio.

Mr. Wells was born in Anderson County to the late Cecil and Hester Ward Wells.  He was a graduate of Western Anderson High; member of Fox Creek Christian Church; a Kentucky Colonel; and spent most of his days working as a carpenter for Wells Brothers Construction and Don Wells Home Improvement.

Along with his wife, Don is survived by one son, Dr. Donald Grayson (Bridget) Wells; grandson, Brody Grayson Wells; and brother, Sherrel (Brenda) Wells, all of Lawrenceburg.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Cecil Wells, Jr. and William "Bill" Wells; and three sisters, Nellion Hahn, Blondella Coke, and Margaret Ann Dennis.

Graveside services will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at Lawrenceburg Cemetery with Rev. Carol Whiting officiating.

Pallbearers will be Bertram Wells, Burt Hahn, Billy Joe Routt, C.W. Hopkins, Rod Halverson, Eddie Drury, Dwayne Smith, B.R. Chilton, Brody Wells, and Don G. Wells.
