Denton Jerome "D Jay" Bixler

Denton Jerome "D Jay" Bixler, 27, of Frankfort, died Monday, March 20, 2017 at the Frankfort Regional Medical Center.

He was born in Lexington, KY to William J. Bixler, of Frankfort and Nancy Jane Tillman, of Lexington.

Along with his parents he is survived by two sons, DaMoni Jermain and Zayden Rome Bixler, and their mother, Jennifer Tabor, of Frankfort; maternal grandmother, Patricia Greenwell, of Frankfort; paternal grandparents, Jinnie and William Earl Bixler, of Lawrenceburg; 7 siblings, Kegan Bixler, Patrick Bixler, Ashaya Bixler, Tyson Bixler, Bailey Bixler, Michael Giles, and Kathryn Urbina; aunt, Earlene (Aunt Beanie) Handley; special cousin, Shanele Bixler, both of Louisville; and several other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Coleman Giles, Sr.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Gash Memorial Chapel with Bro. Johnny Cunningham and Rev. Will Howard. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Hills Cemetery. Visitation will be 11-2 p.m. Wednesday prior to the service.
