Dennis Paul Richards, 53, husband of 8 years to Donna Durr Richards, of Lawrenceburg, died Sunday, September 29, 2019 at his residence.

He was born in Lexington, KY and was the beloved son of the late Eugene and Mary Lowery Bevins. Dennis spent his professional career as an industrial electrician for Comstock Electric. He was an avid outdoorsman and hunter; UK Fan; member of New Life Christian Fellowship Church; he was baptized and believed in God. Dennis was family man that was always there for his wife, daughter & mother-in-law. He was always willing to lend a helping hand.

Along with his beloved wife he was survived by a daughter, Slone Durr (Nick Perry) Richards, Lawrenceburg; sister, Karen Collins, Stamping Ground; brother, Allen (Cindy) Richards, of Frankfort; mother-in-law, Susie Durr, Lawrenceburg; and his fur baby, Maria .

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at Gash Memorial Chapel with Bro. Roy Temple, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Durr Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. on Tuesday.

Casket bearers will be Kevin Ouelette, Chris Anderson, Todd "Shooter" Carter, Tom Bunton, Nick Perry and David Hawkins.  Honorary bearers will be Aaron Wainscott amd Jeremy Soard.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Anderson Humane Society, P.O. Box 494, Lawrenceburg, Kentucky 40342.
