Deborah Jane Maddox, 74, of Lawrenceburg, passed away on Wednesday, February 19, 2025 at Frankfort Regional Medical Center.

She was born in Frankfort, KY to the late James Gilbert and Caroline Mae Alsman Hume. Deborah was a member at Sand Spring Baptist Church and enjoyed watching church service every Sunday at home. Deborah was a graduate of Anderson High School; she was retired from Wild Turkey Distillery where she worked for 30 years in the bottling house. In her spare time, she loved to cook, making everything from scratch. She also enjoyed playing solitaire on her computer; served as the Mother Hen of her family and was a wonderful sister and friend to many.

Deborah is survived by two sisters, Susan (Kerry) Faulkner, of Lawrenceburg; Elaine (Roger) Schumann, of Crossfield, TN; nieces and nephews, Shannon Faulkner, Shelbyville, Carrie (Ryan) Wick, of Yorktown, VA; Nick (Daneille Brown) Schumann, of Crossfield, TN, and Kaleb (Shelbey) Faulkner, Lexington; 3 great-nieces; 1 great-nephew; extended family, David (Marty) Swift, of Louisville, Sloane, Spencer and Gina; and many special friends.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by a daughter, Lindsey Maddox.

Cremation was chosen and no services have been scheduled.

In lieu of flower memorial contributions are suggested to Anderson Humane Society, 1410 Versailles Rd., Lawrenceburg, KY 40342.
